Ainokainen is an ecological clothing and jewellery brand established in 2008. It offers an original and unique collection of clothing and accessories, bringing a bit of beauty to your every day life as well as special occasions.
Ainokainen is Slow Fashion luxury. It's timeless designs are an alternative to the usual, constantly changing collections. However, the choice of materials gives each Ainokainen product has a unique character. Abundant alternatives in decoration as well as colour give our collection limitless possibilites. Slow fashion means style not bound by time.
Environmental values are the basis of our work. Ainokainen products are hand made in Finland, using only renewable energy. We use recycled and overstock materials as much as possible. Our knitwear is made from 100% Finnish sheep wool. We dyi the wool using traditional methods based on vegetable colours.
Ainokainen means one of a kind. The designer Netta Kervinen (born 1983) is a story lover with a poetic and playful mind. “As a designer i want to create unique, atmospheric pieces. I love to play with contrasts. Ainokainen inhabits a world where cinematic and elegant atmosphere flows through the northern landscapes. Also music, old photographs, adventures, surprising materials, nordic nature and forgotten, dusty places inspire me.”
